Frances Czaia Fine Art - Watercolors & Giclées

Inspired by the rural surroundings and abundance of birds near my home in the St. Croix Valley of Minnesota, I attempt to capture the beauty and intricate details found in nature. Originally trained and currently working as a graphic designer, my continuing classes at the Atelier Studio Program of Fine Art ( theatelier.org ) in Minneapolis has developed my skills in the Classical Realism method of drawing and painting. My watercolors are painted with a small brush, very little water and many layers. The subject matter comes from a variety of photographs and plants from my own yard. Each piece is carefully reproduced with archival inks as a high quality giclée on the finest art paper. All bird giclées are limited editions of 250 or less.
